Initial Stats

Rank 1 costs 10 points, and features:

• Slow projectile speeds
• Slightly above-average rate-of-fire
• Below-average damage (24/shot)
• Standard accuracy: Accurate while walking, inaccurate while running
• High FP drains

The Westar M5 also features a unique fixed-length "clip" reload. No matter how much ammo you're reloading, the reload will always take the same amount of time.

• Causes regular fire to always be accurate, even while running or jumping.

Westar M5 Scope (10)

Lets you scope using secondary fire. Shots fired while scoped...

• Use 10 ammo per shot (instead of 2)
• Fly much faster
• Deal 47 damage (instead of 24)

The Rank 2 upgrade does not grant accuracy to sniper mode; it uses "Standard" accuracy rules: accurate while walking, inaccurate while running.

Westar M5 Grenade Launcher (15, 5)

Lets you fire purchased pulse grenades from your M5 using secondary fire. These launched pulse nades...

• Stick to whatever they land on
• Have a smaller explosion radius
• Have a shorter stun effect.

Each level of Westar M5 Grenade Launcher purchased adds another Pulse Nade, as well, so purchasing both levels means you get two Pulse Nades at regular price (10 each) and effectively get the Grenade Launcher for free! Sort of.

Dexterity 3 (30)

In addition to the other effects of Dexterity 3, Dexterity 3 causes the scoped Westar M5 to always be accurate, even while running or jumping. It has no effect on the accuracy of your standard fire.

Strategy Tips

• Rank 2's perfect accuracy gives you the freedom to be always evading while also constantly going for precise headshots. Similarly, buying Dexterity 3 along with the Scope allows you to fire sniper shots accurately even while jumping around crazily. Master either of these options and you can be quite unstoppable.
• The Westar's "clip" reload is relatively long, so be careful how you time your reloads.
